Clinchamps-sur-Orne (Calvados), church of Notre-Dame
The church of Notre-Dame was founded in the 11th century on Gallo-Roman ruins. The bell-tower and choir are Romanesque while the chapels consecrated to the Virgin Mary and Saint-Joseph which formed the transept were built in the 19th century. The nave was rebuilt between 1865 and 1870, but due to a lack of resources the work was not finished.
