Harness components

second half of the 12th century

The three objects presented here were used in a horse's harness.
An iron rivet can be observed presenting a semi-spherical head in cuprous alloy, a semi-circular harness, whose tongue has been lost, and an iron ring quadrangular in section, with rounded corners, presenting a lateral thicker portion on the quadrangular section, on one of the wide faces presenting a lateral circular thickening on one of its larger faces, pierced with a hole, probably for articulation with another piece.
