The manorial residence of Rubercy (Calvados) Backgammon pieces in bone second half of the 12th century |
Backgammon piece in bone made from a deer bone disk, on one of the faces carrying a concentric geometrical decoration, alternating circles and ocelli. The reverse of the pieces remains un-carved. Signs of wear can be seen on some of the pieces.
