This column capital originates from the Trinité church, in the Abbaye-aux-Dames, in Caen (Calvados), from the triforium in the north crossing of the transept. It was carved in limestone around the first third of the 12th century.
The decoration is made up of concave almond motifs alternating with chamfered groins.Dimensions of the object
