Deux-Jumeaux (Calvados) Church of St Martin Capital 8th century

This fragment of a pilaster capital or entablature in limestone consists of a wide band probably acting as an abacus. The decoration of this band figures a flat undulating stem with lance-shaped leaves. Traces of red and white polychrome decoration can be seen on the stone.
