The church of Putot-en-Auge consists of a single nave extended by a choir with a flat east end, a small square tower inserted into the south wall and tower rising above the first bay of the choir. The 12th century choir is decorated with arcading on each exterior wall. A doorway with orders sculpted with flattened heads, beak heads and palmettes, is set in the south wall. On the tympanum is a group of figures surrounding the cross. Bibliography
