The church of Saint-Vigor in Asnières en Bessin is a Romanesque building dating from the end of the 12th century, a part of which, mainly the choir and tower was re-worked in the 13th century. This consists of a single nave, a transept and choir with a flat chevet. The tower rises above the transept crossing. The most interesting Romanesque elements are the portal of the east façade with its decoration of masks and bird beaks, the portal of the south wall of nave and all the cornice brackets of the nave.
