Church of Saint-Martin

The church of Ver-sur-Mer is remarkable in its church tower dating from the 12th century. The church was built outside-to-outside in accordance with the rule of the progression of openings and decoration with the elevation. The tower is on four levels topped by a spire in the form of a gradated pyramid. The first level is a high base decorated with a band of blind arches, and the three upper floors, each slightly receding in relation to the other, open onto bays consisting of large full arches.
The nave which was re-built in the mid-19th century is a bland pastiche of the neo-Romanesque style.
