The
church of Saint-Pierre in Vaux-sur-Seulles has been significantly altered by
successive restorations. The combined tower and porch was dressed with a façade
of the classical period. The nave has recently been given large windows in the
neo-Romanesque style.
The vestiges of the 12th century
are on the other hand still clearly visible on the gable wall of the north wing
of the transept and in the walls of the choir and its flat east end in a device of
two ranks of arches, which are blind on the first level and open in the windows
of the second level. Buttresses complete the typical elevation of the wall of
the chevet.
