A man, seated on a sculpted stool, on which there is a richly embroidered cushion, with his feet crossed and knees apart, holding a harp in front of him. In his left hand he is holding a sort of baton. He is wearing a gown covered with round necked collar with a coat whose folds simply follow the movement of his body and a plissé-mouillé (cloth folds) influenced by the antique art, which is very characteristic of the art of the period which is from c. 1200. This statue which is unfortunately damaged (the head has disappeared), is sometimes thought to be the figure of king David, but is more probably a representation of one of the twenty-four old men of the Apocalypse.
