Spurs

End of the 10th century / Early 11th century

Two iron spurs discovered during excavations. The first fragment of a spur presents two branches broken at each end. The long flange ends in a lozenge shaped button with four heavily worn away faces.
The second spur also has two branches one of which is broken and the other ending in an attachment with a rectangular hole. The flange, which is short and arranged in the same plan as the branches, ends in a pyramidal button with four curved facets.
