Ouistreham (Calvados) Church of St Samson Capital Second third of the 12th century

This capital carved in limestone presents a corbel covered in moulded almond motifs separated with folds narrowing towards the top. The semicircular sections are described with a groove and decorated with triangles in relief. The astragal consists of three small parallel toruses.
