Caen (Calvados) Church of St Pierre Frieze Second third of the 12th century

This geometrical frieze originates from the church of Saint-Pierre (Caen, Calvados). It was carved in limestone during the second third of the 12^th century.
It consists of a double cable; only one side is beaded, with a line of hollow beads which have been drilled with a trepan.
