Buckles with a rotating arm

Both buckles have a rotating arm which expands slightly in the centre and has domed terminals held in place by the looped ends of the frames. These are buckles used as part of horse harness

1. late 12th century
Dimensions: Frame:L.60, W.51, T.10 mm:

2. early 12th century
It is tin-plated.
Dimensions: L.52, W.46, T.8mm
