Unknown origin

Modillion

First third of the 12th century

This modillion of unknown origin carved in limestone during the first third of the 12th century.
This anthropomorphic head presents a fairly simple execution but is not lacking in originality : the line of the eyebrows is extended on the forehead by curved lines arranged in parallel, reminiscent of wrinkles and endowing the face with a certain expressiveness.
