Ouezy (Calvados)

Tympanum

Second third of the 12th century 

This tympanum originates from the priory of Ouezy (Calvados). It was carved in limestone during the second third of the 12th century.
It is bordered by a torus framing a Greek cross the branches of which are decorated with hollow beads. This cross is incorporated in a circle bordered by saw teeth.
