Church of Notre-Dame-de-Quilly

The church of Notre-Dame de Quilly consists of a nave from the 18th century, a choir with flat chevet from the end of the 12th century and a tower rising from the south east end of the nave. The tower is the oldest part of the edifice. It probably dates from the beginning of the 12th century. It is square in ground plan, and includes a windowless base with traces of a fish bone pattern bonding, two floors and a stone pyramid with four sides. Romanesque reliefs encrust the walls: a majestic Christ on the south face and a lion and deer on the east face.
