Church of Saint-Aubin

The church of St Aubin was a dependency of the abbey of Fontenai-sur-Orne. The building draws attention to itself with its combined tower and porch dating from the end of the 11th century, the presence of which is unusual for a small parish. The nave dates from the end of the 12th century with its slightly pointed arches, opening onto the side aisles and the capitals ornamented with stylised vegetable motifs and human heads. The choir is of the 13th century, but there is a Romanesque doorway in the south wall.
