Church of Saint-Vigor

The church of Saint-Vigor in Reviers has been considerably re-worked during over the centuries. The combined tower and porch shows many stages of construction. The upper part of the tower is 13th century and with a 14th century parapet, whereas the base dates from the end of the 12th century or the beginning of the 13th century. Under the tower the arcade giving onto the nave presents capitals decorated with almond moulding motifs, foliage and masks. The nave was almost completely re-worked in the 19th century, with the exception of arches giving onto the north aisle, dating from the end of the 12th century.
