Mazara  S. Maria dell'alto (Delle Giummare) First half of the XII century

    This building is difficult to date because of its peculiar architectonic characteristics. It has one nave, like some Basilian churches of the County built in the Eastern part of Sicily, and it has a roofing marked by three transverse barrel-vaults. During the centuries it has undergone many transformations. The pictures show the severe and unusual partition of the exteriors.
